A serene looking face with closed eyes is depicted with soft, sketch-like details. Curly hair gently frames the face, which embodies a peaceful and contemplative expression.

La Scapigliata ('' The Lady with Dishevelled Hair '') is an unfinished painting generally attributed to the Italian High Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci, and dated c. 1506 - 1508.

Painted in oil, umber, and white lead pigments on a small poplar wood panel, its attribution remains controversial, with several experts attributing the work to a pupil of Leonardo. The painting has been admired for its captivating beauty, mysterious demeanor, and mastery of sfumato.

In the mid 90`s, Juergen fulfilled his dream finally, when he traveled for a Backpack-Route to South America. And only one year later, he crossed Central America, from Mexico City to Panama City. After some Spain and Portugal-Journeys and after two Greenland Cruiseships, he traveled several times into the North American Continent, and also to Alaska, where Juergen was already seven times.
